Chase Brass and Copper Company, a leader in the brass rod industry, has a need for a Director of Marketing at our Montpelier, OH facility.

 

ABOUT US:

For over 50 years, Chase Brass has been producing brass rod in the USA for hundreds of different everyday items – faucet parts, auto parts, valves, hardware, couplings, sensors, etc. – and not so everyday parts like the 2002 Olympic Torch. In fact, you’d probably be surprised to know how many different objects you own that are made possible because of the physical characteristics of brass.

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary focus of this role is to provide direction and oversight of Chase Brass marketing strategy, including market and pricing analysis, product development and the creation and management of a strategic marketing plan with the objective of driving growth in new and existing products and markets.

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop a marketing plan to promote existing products and identify new opportunities for new products and market development.
  • Manage promotional and marketing programs and campaigns to drive growth.
  • Monitor and establish pricing, policies, contracts, and service needs for the Sales Department based on guidelines and directives established by the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
  • Provide direction and supervision for the Marketing Strategist.
  • Oversight of e-commerce strategy and execution.
  • Direct and manage the implementation and utilization of a CRM.
  • Optimizes sales efforts and bolster customer relationships through territory travel with the Regional Sales Managers.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • BS/BA required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a progressive sales and marketing role required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role required.
  • Knowledge of copper based metals or related metal or technical processes preferred.
  • Experience in the plumbing market related to manufacturing, wholesale or retail preferred.
  • Extensive experience in developing, implementing, and using a CRM required. 

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to work independently and adapt in order to meet the changing goals and objectives of the corporation.
  • Shall have proven and tangible organizational, leadership and time management skills and be willing to work extensive hours to accomplish corporate initiatives when needed.
  • Must possess a valid and non-encroached driver’s license and the ability to obtain a US Passport.
