Wieland is hiring a Metals Management Specialist. Metals Management Specialist will be responsible for supporting the daily management of metals hedge execution per the Wieland Group Risk Management Guidelines. This role is located in Louisville, KY with potential to be fully remote.

Responsibilities

Metals Management Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Execute transactions in SAP to record daily hedge activity
  • Execute month-end financial settlements in SAP; collaborate with finance/accounting to ensure accurate records
  • Conduct regular audits of SAP data to ensure accuracy; collaborate with BU stakeholders as needed to validate data
  • Collaborate with metals management team to create, update and organize department records for business processes, business systems, vendor contracts, hedge broker records and other important documents
  • Collaborate with Wieland IT team as needed to accomplish role accountabilities

Metals Management Specialist Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in business or technical related discipline required
  • Minimum two years of purchasing, accounting or finance experience required
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with team members and other departments within the organization
  • Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, SAP and Oracle
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability/aspirations to live the Wieland vision and values
