Wieland is hiring a General Maintenance person. The General Maintenance will be responsible for assisting maintenance Electricians and/or Machinist/Mechanics to ensure safe and efficient operation of all production equipment, and special tooling necessary for production of high frequency welded tube products.  This role is located in Cuba, MO and will be fully on-site. 

Starting Pay:  $23.13 per hour

General Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Comply with the organization’s Health and Safety Policy and all other health and safety practices,
  programs, and procedures.
• Successfully complete required health and safety and OHSMS training.
• Participate in the OHSMS by reporting incidents or near misses, attending health and safety meetings,
  reporting problems and recommending improvements, and other related activities.
• Inform a supervisor, foreman, or safety coordinator of any safety hazards or system deficiencies in the
  workplace.
• Participate in periodic health and safety audits (hazards, risks, and management systems) of work
  areas/facilities.
• Participate in safety and health improvement efforts.

General Maintenance Qualifications:

• Precision machining, polishing, and inspection of profiled roll tooling. (Holdridge Radii Cutter)
• Sharpening shear die sets. (Surface Grinder)
• Sharpening carbide OD cutting tools. (Tool Grinder)
• Fabrication and setup of impeders, I.D. heads, and induction coils.
• Machining of tool steels, ampco bronze, brass, copper, aluminum, and plastics.
• Cutting & welding.
