Wieland is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst. The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a key financial business partner to the Global Extruded & Cast business unit, providing guidance and oversight to ensure financial success. This role is responsible for driving financial reporting and leveraging data to offer analytical insights to business unit management. The Controller will play a critical role in communicating key financial information, addressing operational and accounting issues, and supporting the achievement of company goals.

 

This role is located in Montpelier, Ohio , and will be fully on-site. While this role is local, occasional travel to other locations will be required (10% travel). 

Responsibilities

Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Act as business partner supporting the financial activities of the Global Extruded & Cast Business Unit projects at the Montpelier, OH site(s).
  • Provide analytical reporting needs, including quality and timely communication of financial results and operational issues.
  • Prepare and maintain tracking and reporting to assist management with the achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Drive the financial reporting process ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements and forecasts.
  • Participate in the development of BU strategic objectives and bridge with financial impacts.
  • Run strategy topics/projects that are at the interface of BU strategy.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.

  • Provide direction and support to team members while promoting collaboration across departments.

Senior Financial Analyst Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Administration focusing on Accounting or Controlling/FP&A.
  • Over 5 years of professional experience in controlling FP&A.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems; experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BI is a plus. 
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and Internal Controls.
  • Advanced expertise in financial analysis and reporting tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive team member with the ability to adapt to high-pressure environments.
  • Must be able to occasionally travel to the North American headquarters in Louisville, KY. e, KY.
