Wieland is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst. The Supply Chain Analyst will focus on analytical projects to reduce costs, increase inventory turns and improve efficiencies in the areas of planning and logistics. The role will work closely with individuals in supply chain, purchasing engineering, operations management, information systems, and finance. The Supply Chain Analyst will also be responsible for becoming proficient in supporting positions (such as scheduling and logistics). The role will also be involved with the development of key performance metrics and systems to monitor and drive YOY continuous improvement objectives. This role is located in Montpelier, OH and will be fully on-site. 

Supply Chain Analyst Responsibilities:

• Supply chain analysis (i.e. inventory performance, scheduling performance, financial, logistics, delivery performance analysis)
• Capacity planning and optimization analysis
• Develop and execute projects to decrease costs and meet annual company cost reduction goals
• Develop performance metrics and track improvements for the supply chain department
• Develop reporting to analyze sales and operations planning and forecasting processes
• Develop a dashboard for management reporting
• Collaborate with the IT department to investigate/implement more efficient processes and systems
• Supports the supply chain department by backing up critical roles in scheduling, logistics, and procurement
• All other Duties as Assigned
  

Supply Chain Analyst Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field preferred
• Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing company, preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, work with all departments and suppliers
• Excellent computer skills, including excel (use of pivot tables, database tools, power BI)
• Experience with data visualization and dashboard reporting tools
• Strong analytical skills, including statistical, regression and financial variance analysis
• Strong data mining, interpretation and cleansing skills (knowledge of SQL or other tools a plus)
• Experience with the SAP system preferred
