Wieland is hiring a Coiler Operator. The Coiler Operator will be responsible for operation of the Coiler in the Finish Department.  Operates equipment safely per standard operating procedure and initiates improvement to safe operations as appropriate. This role is located in Duncansville, PA and will be fully on-site. 

Starting Pay: $ 19.38/hr. 

Schedule:  3rd shift  11:00 PM to 7:00 AM after training on 1st shift 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Pay Schedule:  Weekly

Coiler Operator Responsibilities:

• Maintain safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Maintain effective communication with other employees, including supervisor/management and during shift changes.
• Retrieve proper material in accordance with traveler ticket.
• Install proper tooling required by traveler ticket
• Ensure coil meets customer specifications stated on traveler ticket.
• Performs quality checks as stated in Quality Plan.
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Demonstrates proficiency in the various tasks identified on the machine’s training evaluation form.
• Able to work overtime as business needs require.
• Clean and return removed tools.
• Crosstrain in other areas as needed.

Coiler Operator Qualifications:

• Ability to maintain thorough knowledge of equipment/machine specific SOP’s.
• Successfully complete Forklift training.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge utilizing measuring devices.
• Lifting
