Wieland is hiring a Quality Coordinator. The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring products, services, and processes conform to quality and safety standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.  This role will maintain accurate records of testing, results, and actions to ensure compliance. This role is located in Alliance, OH, and will be fully on-site. 

Responsibilities

Quality Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all mill defective reports (DMRs) and internal vendor material issues.
  • Assist in all production part approval process requests (PPAPs) and related process capability reporting.
  • Perform all assigned internal audits and continuous improvement projects related to quality.
  • Coordinate daily customer certification reviews and approvals, including emailing material certification to identified customers.
  • Prepare Quality reports and quality-related correspondence.
  • Perform and document quality testing as determined by customer specifications.
  • Coordinate activities of the Receiving department as back up to Quality Manager.

Quality Coordinator Qualifications:

  • High School or Equivalent. Some college preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of previous Quality and/or Manufacturing experience, preferably within company or metal manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of ISO/QMS standards and requirements.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Mathematics.
  • Strong analytical skills/attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
