The shift for this postition will be 6a-6p shift.Core Accountabilities- Work safely and promote the safety of those working around you; help build a proactive safety culture- Meet Forgeworks' customers' demand by setting up and proving out jobs on the Automatic Forging, and Automatic Transfer Machines including:- Tool Setup – Assemble and Preset tools per setup instructions for both types of equipment - Program Parameters – Input machine program information from setup information for both types of equipment- Robot Setup – Setup and adjust loading robot for both types of equipment- Test and debug Job setup – Ensure that equipment cycles properly - FPA & PPAP – Successfully complete the First Piece and Production Part Approval Process prior to turning over both types of equipment for production- In-Process diagnostics and debug – Work together with the machine operator to make corrections to the process parameters and/or tooling in cases of quality or production excursions. - Meet or exceed the quality expectations of the customer as defined by the Engineering and Quality organizations by following the quality process- Periodic part inspection- Lead root cause analysis- Diagnose, predict and anticipate problems (e.g. caused by tool wear, etc.)- Meet or exceed financial targets by achieving operating performance targets such as yield and operating efficiency- Additional Accountabilities- Assist process engineering in the development of new tooling, recipes, and processes- Read and interpret dimensional layouts when needed- Adhere to ISO 9001 and NSF standards- Process audits

Selects proper material and tools for machining operations- Assembles, fits, aligns, and adjusts machinery and equipment- Checks and measures work with gauges, micrometers, calipers and other instruments- Maintains equipment in proper operating condition and keeps work area clean and orderly
